This Partner Portal provides key information relating to your participation in Open Banking Expo Canada 2026 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC) and will answer the many questions you may have.

Accessibility

The MTCC is a fully AODA compliant venue.

The North garage has 12 disabled parking spaces located on Level 4A and the South garage has 9 disabled parking spaces.

All levels of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre are accessible under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act. Please click here for information on specific accessibility details by floor.

Car Parking

Exhibitor parking passes are available in easy access, security-patrolled indoor parking garages. With space for over 1,700 cars and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, MTCC garages are steps away from the show floor.

Discounted parking rates are available for orders placed up to 14 days prior to the first contracted day.

Staff passes

Staff passes must be registered by February 19 to guarantee availability. Please use this link.

*This code may only be used by Expo partners and should not be shared. Any bookings using this code by companies that are not partners of the Expo will be cancelled and refunded.

VIP passes

If your partnership package includes an allocation of VIP passes, they should be registered by February 19 to guarantee availability. Please use this link

VIP passes are intended for invited external guests of sponsors or speakers, such as clients, prospects, or industry contacts who meet the event’s eligibility criteria.

VIP passes should not be used for internal staff or employees of sponsor organisations. Sponsor team members must register using the staff pass link (section above) within their allocation, or purchase additional passes using the partner 50% discount code.

If you are unsure whether a guest qualifies for a VIP pass, please contact hello@openbankingexpo.com and we will advise on the appropriate registration option.

Deliveries

If you have materials you need to deliver to support your partnership, the MTCC will accept and store a maximum of 10 boxes not larger than 1-1/2′ x 1/1′. Please ensure all box deliveries are delivered on June 16 and no earlier as they will not be accepted.

We can arrange for deliveries that exceed this number, however, labour charges will be incurred and charged direct from MTCC.

Deliveries should not be delivered to the venue before build commences on March 4. Items attempted to be delivered before this date will be turned away by the venue.

Make sure you and your colleagues download the Open Banking Expo event app using the email address you are registered with for the event. Click on the relevant app store logo below:

Customising your profile

Click on the edit button above your name and job title/company, then, proceed to edit your personal profile.

Please make sure you add a photograph, check your job title is correct, and add a couple of sentences in your biography, as a minimum.

Setting up your virtual booth

Underneath your profile box will be the name of your company and an edit button (the pencil).

Click the edit button, and this will open a new tab called

‘Exhibitor Centre’. All editing of your booth is done within the ‘Exhibitor Centre’.

Choose the options in the left-hand menu:

  • Company profile – here you can set up your virtual booth. You can upload your logo bio and your company details. You can also add a web address, social media links and an advert.
  • Your team – we will manually add your team members to your virtual booth as they are registered for the event.

Asset sizes:

(None should be larger than 1MB)

  • Header image: 1200x675px (16:9 ratio)
  • Logo: 400x200px (2:1 ratio)
  • Advert: 1080x1920px (9:16 ratio)
  • Background image: 2560x1600px (16:10 ratio)
Viewing your booth as an attendee

Navigate to the event home screen, by clicking the ‘HOME’ menu option:

Then click on the Exhibitors & Sponsors button or menu option and it will look like this for you to select your booth from and view it as an attendee.

On-site

Before and during the event, keep the momentum going and maximise your marketing impact:

  • Announcements– Let us know about any networking sessions, press events, or activities on your stand so we can share them in live announcements on the show floor and via our event app notifications.
  • Social– Post regularly before, during, and after the event. Follow and use the event hashtags to join the conversation and boost your visibility.
  • Offers & competitions– Running a giveaway or special offer? Tell us so we can help promote it through our social channels and the event app to drive more delegate engagement.

Lead capture

Even if you do not have an exhibition stand onsite, you have the opportunity for a virtual booth in the event app, which means that all your staff attending the event can capture leads. It is super simple! To scan a lead:

  • Open the event app, sign in using the email address you are registered for the show with
  • Tap on the camera icon at the bottom of the page. This opens the event app camera.
  • Scan the attendee badge
  • You will get a ‘success message’ (see below)

All your team contacts will be added into your exhibitor centre, from which you can export your leads after the show.

NB – It is important that all your staff are added to your virtual booth to export their leads. We will do our best to add anyone missing from your organisation to your virtual stand, but you can do it yourself in the exhibitor centre.

Build and teardown

Build

Build is on Wednesday March 4.

All booths will be set up and complete by our contractor Bold Booths by 15:00 on Wednesday March 4.

You may check your booth or add anything such as merchandise or promotional literature to it on Wednesday March 4 between 15:00-17:30. Please confirm if you wish to do so in order for us to set up access for you to the Expo hall by emailing Lillie.Cook@openbankingexpo.com.

If you do bring merchandise or promotional materials, please use the recycling bins as marked – large bins are made available during move-ins/outs for wood / metal, cardboard / plastic / paper, and organics. If you do not see the bins, please inform one of our Cleaning Staff and they will be pleased to help.

Event access

You will be able to access the Expo hall from 07:30 on the day of the event, March 5.

Teardown

Thursday March 5
19:00 – 22:30

Bold Booths will teardown your booth, but if you have any merchandise or promotional materials, please ensure they are packed away and labelled clearly for return to your office and positioned in the corner of the Expo hall (we will direct you where on the day). Please ensure you organise a courier to collect your boxes no later than noon March 6 as MTCC will move your boxes to the collection point ready. For courier collection instructions, please email Lillie.Cook@openbankingexpo.com.

Catering

The MTCC retains the exclusive right to provide, control and retain all food and beverage services throughout the facility for events. All food and beverage items must be supplied and prepared by MTCC’s Food & Beverage Department.

No food, beverage, bottled water or alcohol will be permitted to be brought into or removed from MTCC’s facility by the licensee or any of the licensee’s guests or invitees without the written approval of the Food & Beverage Department. This includes any “food sponsorship” and/or “food vendors” within the premises.

Sample food or beverage products may be distributed within an exhibit area with written authorization. Please contact us and we’ll make an enquiry with the MTCC catering department.

Emergency Procedures

Should you experience an emergency during your time at the MTCC, please contact their Security Centre at (416) 585-8160. Please also review the emergency procedures document before the event.

Floor Plan

The event will be held on Level 100, and the exhibition room (and therefore build) is in Constitution Hall 106.

Internet / Telecommunications Services

Wireless internet access for one device is included.

If you would like any additional access, internet and telecommunication services are available from the MTCC on an exclusive basis. Their Technology Specialists are available to provide you state-of-the-art services directly to your booth. Wireless and wired internet services are available to every exhibitor based on the requirements of each exhibit space. The MTCC requires that exhibitors ordering our wireless Internet service use 5 GHz (802.11 a/n ac) capable devices to ensure an exceptional experience. We will provide you with one 150W power socket to charge laptops and phones. If you require any additional power, you can order it here.

Build and teardown

Use the recycling bins as marked – large bins are made available during move-ins/outs for wood / metal, cardboard / plastic / paper, and organics. If you do not see the bins, please inform one of our Cleaning Staff and they will be pleased to help.

Keep food separate from other materials – if normally recyclable material is contaminated by food or drink, it will be sent to landfill.

Any waste which cannot be placed into the bins in the hall must be removed from the venue. Any packaging/crates etc. which must be removed by the organisers will incur a surcharge which will be passed onto each exhibitor. Please ensure all stand contractors are given this information.

Teardown

Thursday March 5

If you are using contractors, please inform them of Teardown time.

STAND PLAN

All space-only exhibitors must submit their booth plans for approval by Open Banking Expo Canada. Your booth plan should include:

  • Scaled Drawing / Visual
    Showing stand dimensions, open sides, any rigging, or raised platforms.
  • Health & Safety / Risk Documentation
    A Risk Assessment or Health & Safety Plan outlining any hazards and how they will be managed.
  • Insurance
    Proof of Commercial General Liability (CGL) Insurance, with a minimum coverage of CAD $5 million.
